You will practice some easy and refreshing stretches and movements as couples that involve stretching, movement, and meditations for increasing confidence, strengthening the family and couple bonds, and aligning energy! YoGaGa for New Moms and Babies
Strengthening and rejuvenating for Mom, fun and lively for Baby. These classes involve movement, stretching and strengthening exercises with the participation of Mom and Baby! Introduce Baby to the joy, awareness and confidence of Yoga practice early! Mom and baby will find the session a time of bonding, intimacy, and fun.
Music Together
Music Together is an early childhood music program for children ages birth to 5 years and the adults who love them. The program is research-based and is provided by All About Music and Kids with Sherri Almeida serving as director. Music Together classes are based on the recognition that all children are musical. Research shows that exposure to early music also enhances creativity and coordination as well as language development. Music together emphasizes the actual musical experience rather than the consumption and concepts of music. We share songs, instrument play, chants and movement activities in a relaxed, non-performance setting. Women's Full Moon Meditation
In the tradition of Yoga it has long been known that a woman has a special affinity for the moon. A woman's reproductive and emotional rhythms are governed by the moon. It is said that a woman's power is at its zenith at the time of the full moon. Each month on the eve of the full moon or during the waxing phase to nearly full, we gather together for a special woman's meditation specifically designed for healing self and others. Come join with other women in community, friendship and celebration.
Yoga and Wellness in Menopause
This is a class revolving around the holistic alternatives available to you nutritionally and through yoga teachings and practices that have been specifically designed for this phase of life. Holistic education on the various foods, supplements and herbs that can be used will be discussed. You will learn and practice yoga and meditation techniques that assist the body in balancing hormones and the emotions. Learn more about the dance of the hormones. What are they? How do they influence the various physical and emotional states that may be affecting you? What can you do about them?
